Verification Associate

CPM is seeking a Verification Associate to assist with all aspects of the verification process. This primarily entails consulting with investment managers and analyzing clients’ performance presentations, along with the processes and procedures in place at the firm relating to the construction of accurate presentations. Verification procedures require working closely with the investment management firm and with large amounts of investment performance and portfolio accounting data. Along with data analysis, the applicant will be responsible for maintaining essentially all aspects of relationship management. This is a contract-based position.

Requirements

•    Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or quantitative discipline with proven training in investment arena.
•    A previous internship or work experience in investment performance measurement is preferable.
•    Strong interpersonal skills.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel and Access.
•    Ability to travel – 4 to 6 nights per month to large cities.
•    Strong work ethic.
•    Desire to innovate.
•    Desire to rapidly enhance career path.
•    Progress towards attaining the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and/or Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM).
